Jerry Lee Myers Obituary

Jerry Lee Myers, 84, of Sellersburg, Indiana, passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2025.  He was born January 12, 1941, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Stanley and Lorene Brock Myers.  He worked at BASF and Hostmann-Steinberg in Louisville and was a long-time member of the Lanesville United Methodist Church.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Leora May Yeager Myers; brothers Buford Myers, Alford Myers, and Stanley Myers; and sisters Patsy Parrish, and Betty Druck.

 

Survivors include his son Brian Myers of Sellersburg, Indiana and grandchildren Katie Myers and Jacob Myers both of Sellersburg.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 12, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Edith Bleecker will officiate.  Burial will be in the Lanesville Protestant Cemetery in Lanesville, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday and after 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Mike Royalty, John Albert, Rusty McCubbins, Jeff Druck, Jacob Myers, and Brian Smith.  Honorary pallbearer will be Paul McPherson.
