Jerry L. Heishman

Jerry L. Heishman, 57, of Corydon, died Saturday, April 22, 2023, at his home in Corydon.  He was born January 10, 1966, in Corydon, to the late Leonard I. and Catherine A. Huffman Heishman.  He was employed at Tyson Foods in Corydon and loved to ride his motorcycles.  Jerry was a loving and kind person, who loved to spend time with his family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his niece, Pamela Stepro.

Jerry will be missed by his family who he leaves behind, his daughter, Hailey Rose Heishman, whom he loved dearly; his siblings, Deloris Brown (Ricky) of New Albany, Indiana, Eldon Heishman of Corydon, and Donna Lynch of New Salisbury, Indiana; his girlfriend, Kelly Hofstra; a niece; and a nephew.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 28, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery near Mauckport.

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Chris Stewart, Heather Stewart, Michael Heishman, Tasha Sizemore, Jonathan Teagarden, Billy Froman II, and Ronnie Thorpe.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to his daughter, Hailey, c/o Deloris Brown, 4226 Glenbrook East, New Albany, Indiana 47150.
