Jerry Schaffner, 66, of Corydon, Indiana, died Saturday, August 3, 2024, at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation in Leavenworth, Indiana. He was born August 14, 1957, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Louis and Alma Pantomule Schaffner. He worked as a steel fabricator, was a member of the 700 Club and was a U.S. Army veteran. Jerry enjoyed building and tinkering in his garage and playing his guitar.
Survivors include his brothers, Bob Schaffner (Beth) of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Jim Schaffner (Jan) of Sellersburg, Indiana, Rick Schaffner of Georgetown, Indiana and Louie Schaffner, Jr. (Beverly) of New Albany; his sisters, Sandy Maschino (Larry) of Corydon, Judy Bennett of New Albany, Roberta Ponto (Keith) of Crandall, Indiana and Carrie Medcalf of New Albany.
Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
