Jeane R. Carter, 94, of Corydon, died Sunday, January 12, 2025, at her home in Corydon.  She was born September 4, 1930, in Whitley County, Kentucky, to the late Curtis Reeves and Ethel Mae Huddleston Hill.  She was a retired cashier at Krogers in Western Hills, Ohio and was a member of the Church of Christ.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Paris Carter; her son, Byron Keith Carter, her granddaughter, Heather Young; her brother, Curtis Reeves; and her sisters, Wanda Hensley and Pauline Roy.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Paula Young; her brother, Larry Reeves (Norma); her grandchildren, Joseph Collins, Breogn Kaylor, Brian Carter, Jaclyn Hoffman, and T.J. Carter; many great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandson.

 

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. Friday, January 17, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
