Janice R. Engleman, 88, of Corydon, Indiana, died Wednesday, April 30, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born December 12, 1936, in Corydon, to the late Knoeful C. Boss, Sr. and Lula M. Linton Boss.  She was a retired insurance adjusting clerk with GAB Adjusting after 46 years of service.

 

She was preceded in death  by her parents; her husband, Paul J. Engleman; her brother, K.C. Boss; and her sister, Dorothy Williams.

 

Survivors include her son, Paul “Stu” Engleman (Terry) of Corydon; her daughter, Kris Beaven (Tony) of Corydon, her sister, Janet S. Linton Cortie (Joe) of Lexington, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Zach Engleman (Johanna), Nick Engleman (Becky), Lindsey Beaven (Cory), and Dana Mattingly (Matt); and her great grandchildren, Aiden, Kaylee, Aubrey, Brooklyn, Remy, Max, Belle, Grant, and Nora.

 

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

 

Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
