Janice Elaine Lyskowinski

Janice Elaine Lyskowinski, 78, of Lanesville, died Friday, September 16, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born December 15, 1943 in Harrison County, Indiana.  She was a retired Teacher’s Assistant at Lanesville Community Schools, was a member of the Lanesville Heritage Committee, was a Harrison County 4-H leader, was a member of the Methodist faith and served as the organist at the Lanesville United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Guy W. Spencer and Opal Hall Spencer Fouts; her step father, Herman Fouts; her brothers, Donald and Ronald Spencer; and her grandson, Jordan Kiesler.

Survivors include her husband, John William “Bill” Lyskowinski; her daughters, Jill Louise Kiesler (Garry) of Palmyra, Indiana and Jeri Lyskowinski of Lanesville; her grandchildren, Brianne Kiesler and Brayden Kiesler; and her great grandchildren, Braxten and Raiden Richards.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Edith Bleecker will officiate.  Burial will be in the Lanesville Protestant Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, and after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Lanesville United Methodist Church.
