Janet A. Taylor

Janet A. Taylor, 85, of Corydon, died Wednesday, September 16, 2020, at Norton Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was born November 21, 1934 in New Albany, Indiana to the late Raymond and Agnes Markwell Miller.  She was first employed at Dog-N-Suds in Corydon and later in 1976 at Keller Manufacturing in Corydon until their closure and was a member of the V. F. W. Post 2950 Ladies Auxiliary in Corydon and the Corydon Christian Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Henry Taylor III; and her brothers, Ray Jr., Jack and Pat Miller; and her sisters, Betty Miller, Marcella Williams, Ruby Daily, Mildred Morton, Margaret Barley and Virginia Sue Rainbolt.

Survivors include her husband, Henry C. Taylor, Jr.; her daughters, Diana Cunningham and Sandra Lopp (Billy) both of Corydon; her grandchildren, Holly Cunningham, Brian Cunningham (Rose), Heather Sloan (Mike), Tracy Lopp (Jennifer), Tracy Lopp, Todd Lopp (Autumn), Henry Taylor IV (Katie) and Cody Taylor; and her great grandchildren, Alex Cline, Emma Cunningham, Caitlin Sloan, Ella Cunningham, Jacob Lopp, Waylon Lopp, Ruby Lopp, Aspen Taylor and Ren Taylor.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, September 20, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Rick Harting and Rev. Randy Kirk will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Brian Cunningham, Alex Cline, Tracy Lopp, Todd Lopp, Henry Taylor IV and Cody Taylor.
