Jamie A. Dobson

Jamie A. Dobson, 52, of Corydon, Indiana, died Monday, December 9, 2024, at his home in Corydon.  He was born September 20, 1972, in Tipton, Indiana.  He was formerly employed with Old Capital Beverage Company in Corydon, at Thorn Orwick in Corydon, and as a truck transport worker near Charlestown, Indiana, and loved to go to yard sales. Jamie served as the 49th President of the Indiana Jaycees in 2008. Later he was recognized by the Lanesville Jaycees with his Senatorship as Senator #70558.

Survivors include his parents, Larry Gene and Janet Sue Byerley Dobson; his wife, Liz Simpson  Dobson; and his son, Nathan A. Dobson.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 16, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Norman Lasley will officiate.  Burial will be in Crossroads Cemetery near Mauckport, Indiana.

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
