Jacquelyn Emily Kaufman, 60, of Corydon, died Saturday, February 10, 2024, at her home near Georgetown, Indiana.  She was born February 14, 1963, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Roscoe and Mary Yanner Emily.   Jacque was a graduate of Lanesville High School and went on to be a loving and caring nurse of 30 plus years.  She was currently employed at the Robley Rex VA Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky.  Jacque lived her life for her loving family.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her uncle, Joe Yanner; and her fathers in law, James Taylor and Bill Phillips.

 

Survivors include her husband, Jim Kaufman; her daughters, Jessica Brewer (Eric), Josephine Kaufman, and Jillian Kaufman; her grandson, Caleb Brewer; her brothers, Patrick Emily (Sheila) and Michael Emily (Paulette); her sister, Janet Emily-Smith; her sister in law, Cindy Pennington (Ronnie); and many loving nieces and nephews.

 

Her funeral mass will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 16, 2024, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in Bradford, Indiana.  Father Aaron Pfaff will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.

 

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, and from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Friday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

 

Pallbearers will be Nic Emily, Cody Emily, Jacob Kaufman, Seth Kaufman, Eric Brewer, and Jaydn Swords.
