Jacob Tyler McClanahan, 24, of Corydon, Indiana, died Monday, May 16, 2022. He was born November 3, 1997, in Corydon, Indiana, to Marty D. and Deborah Miller McClanahan. He was a truck driver for the Harrison County Highway Department, a member of Old Capitol United Methodist Church near Corydon, the Ramsey Volunteer Fire Department, the Harrison Township Volunteer Fire Department, the New Middletown Township Volunteer Fire Department and the Leavenworth Fire Department and was an avid deer hunter.
Survivors include his parents, Marty and Deborah McClanahan of Corydon; his sister, Audrey Kochert (Dustin) of Corydon, Indiana; and his nephew, Braxton Kochert.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Old Capitol United Methodist Church near Corydon. Pastor Andy Hansen and Chaplain Dick Goodwin will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 9:00 a.m. Saturday at Old Capitol United Methodist Church near Corydon.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Ramsey Volunteer Fire Department.
Pallbearers will be the Ramsey Volunteer Fire Department. Honorary pallbearers will be James Bube, James Ridenour, Dustin Kochert and Jason Londak.
Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon will be in charge of arrangements.
