Ivan Edwin “Eddie” Windell, Jr., 53, of Mauckport, passed away Thursday, March 23, 2023, at Norton Hospital in Louisville.  He was born January 22, 1970, in Corydon, Indiana. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ivan E. Windell, Sr. and Virginia Kay Cunningham Windell; his aunt, Judith Gurtz; and his grandparents, Goldia Windell and Hugh and Hazel Cunningham.

Survivors include his children, Edwin Thomas Windell, Logan Tyler Windell, Samantha Higdon and Brittany Higdon; his sister, Kimberly Wood (Bill), his grandchildren, Abby, Alex and Aiden; and many wonderful extended family and friends.

There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Lee Brown will officiate.

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Eddie was a beautiful soul who would help anyone he could.  He would give the shirt off his back or his last dime to someone in need.  He loved mowing and taking care of “the camp”.  He will be truly missed by all.
