Heather Dawn Carver

Heather Dawn Carver, 47, of Corydon, died Monday, December 28, 2020, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.  She was born November 18, 1973, in Corydon, to Jerome “Yogi” and Betty Jo Wiseman Davis.  She worked as an office manager for Dr. Bruce Burton for 27 years, worked as a coder for Harrison County Hospital and Norton Hospital, and was a member of New Hope Wesleyan Church in Corydon.  Heather had a strong faith in her Lord, loved her family, farm and work, and cherished spending time with all of her farm animals.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Ralph and Ruby Wiseman.

Survivors include her husband, Jeff Carver; her parents, Jerome “Yogi” and Betty Jo Davis of Corydon; her grandmother, Dossie Daily; her son, Gregory Dakota Carver (Amanda Lynn Hartley) of Corydon; her daughter, Grace Kennedy Carver of Corydon; her sister, Ginger Lynn Menges (Tim) of Corydon; many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends, and her beloved granddogs, Shadow, Bailey and Moose.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 2, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Chuck Morgan and Pastor Tim Johnson will officiate.  Burial will be in Pleasant Ridge Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Greg and Grace Carver, Chelsea and Tim Menges, Garrett Purcell, and Brandon Dunaway.  Honorary pallbearers will be Easton Menges and Bruce Burton.
