Hayden John Miller

Hayden John Miller, 12, of Elizabeth, died Saturday, February 5, 2022, at Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville.  He was born December 31, 2009, in Jeffersonville, Indiana, to Rodney Steven Miller and Amber Paige Anderson Miller.  Hayden was a  6th grade student at South Central Elementary School near Elizabeth, was a member of the South Central Elementary School Cross Country and Basketball teams, was a member of AAU Cross Country, and was a member of 4-H.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, Steven L. Miller and John Anderson.

Survivors include his parents of Elizabeth; his brother, Wyatt Steven Miller of Elizabeth; his grandmothers, Dottie Miller of Elizabeth and Patricia Byerley (Ron) of Laconia; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, February 13, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Doug Zeidler will officiate.  Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery in Elizabeth.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday, and after 10:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family to be used to benefit local youth in memory of Hayden.

Pallbearers will be Preston Knear, Craig Simpson, Dylan Wenning, Brad Pitts, Lane Stults, and Cody Wolfe.  Honorary pallbearers will be the South Central Elementary School Basketball team.
