Greta (Stewart) Noon

Greta Stewart Noon, 86, of Lanesville, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 22, 2023, at The Villas of Guerin Woods in Georgetown, Indiana.  She was born on November 30, 1936 in Horse Branch, Kentucky.  She formerly owned Greta’s Hairstyles in New Albany, was a past President of Harrison County Right to Life and was a housemother at St. Elizabeth’s Southern Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Ruby Stewart; her husband, Charles S. (Chuck) Noon; her sister, Margo Hazelwood; her granddaughter, Caitlin Noon Pena; and her niece, Leslie Stewart.

Survivors include her sons, Pat Noon (Cheri),  Derek Noon, Taz Noon (Marcie) and Eddie Noon; her daughters, Theresa Baker, Bridget Noon and Terra Ehlers (Tony); her grandchildren, Hannah Noon House (Kenny), Abbey Noon Sauerheber (Ashley), Chuck Crosby, Valerie Noon Hinkle (Shawn), Anthony Ehlers (Celia), Nicole Ehlers Mannick (Chris), Karlyn Baker (Deena), Lauren Baker Smithson (Josh), Michael Noon, E. J. Noon, Marc Noon, Molly Noon, Alicia Sallee and Avery Noon; twenty-two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, including Ruby John Stewart..

A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lanesville.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

There will be a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Monday and from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Ehlers, Michael Noon, E. J. Noon, Marc Noon, Chuck Crosby and Karlyn Baker.
