Glenda Sue Cromwell

Glenda Sue Cromwell, 80, of Corydon, Indiana, died Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born July 21, 1941, in Harrison County, Indiana to the late Benjamin Eldridge Cunningham, Jr. and Pauline Ada Felker Cunningham.  She was a retired registered nurse and former employee at Jay-C in Corydon, a homemaker and a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Corydon.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frederick Malcolm Cromwell; and her sister, Donna A. Hussung.

Survivors include her son, Blake A. Cromwell (Lisa) of Corydon; her daughters, Laura A. Van Meter (Michael) and Sally L. Koons (Michael) both of Corydon; her grandchildren, Heather Law (Josh), Courtney Pollard (Jon), Whitney Van Meter, Isaiah Van Meter, Rebekah, Emma and Anna Cromwell, and Aubrey, Caden and Ryleigh Koons;  her great grandchildren, Louis and Ezra Law; and her sister, Peggy H. Fluhr (Lawrence) of Corydon.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, October 3, 2021, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church near Corydon.  Pastor Evangeline Anderson-Rajkumar will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 5:00 p.m. Saturday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.
