Gary W. Deaton, 75, of Central, Indiana, died Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  He was born September 11, 1949, in New Albany, to the late Calvin and Gloria Marie Bliss Deaton.  He was a retired truck driver.

 

Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. Pitman Deaton; his son, Michel W. Deaton (Sherri); his daughters, Valery Semones and Aubree Morgan-Deaton; his brother, Donnie Deaton (Sheilah); his grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley, Rachel, Gloria, Shelby, Brianna, Colton, Danielle and Katlyn; and 17 great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Allen Edwards will officiate.  Burial will be in Jordan Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Zach Seelye, Brett Ford, Noah Ehnle, Brandon Hill, Shelby Deaton and Jayden Millmine.

 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Jordan Cemetery.
