Gary L. Bodenstadt, 72, of Elizabeth, Indiana, died Sunday, September 18, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born December 25, 1949, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Lamar and Ruth Wolfe Bodenstadt. He was retired from Ford Motor Company in Louisville, was a member of the UAW Local 862 in Louisville and was a U.S. Air Force veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Gary Bodenstadt II; and his sisters, Linda Hobson & Sue Parker.
Survivors include his wife of 52 years, Vicky Tuell Bodenstadt; his daughters, Deonne Duncan (Darin) and Natalie Harbison (Garry Urbano); his brother, Steve Bodenstadt; and his grandchildren, Blake, Luke and Abby Duncan, Brett Harbison, and Owen and Gracie Urbano.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 26, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Pastor Kevin Williar will officiate. Burial will be in Eureka Cemetery near Mauckport.
Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Blake Duncan, Luke Duncan, Brett Harbison, Darin Duncan, Garry Urbano and Jim Troutman.
