Gary E. Beard, 76, of Laconia, Indiana, died Sunday, September 28, 2025, at Norton Clark Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.  He was born January 5, 1949, in Valley City, Indiana, to the late Herman and Bertha Beard.  He was formerly employed with RCA in Tennessee and at the Matthew E. Welsh toll bridge at Mauckport, Indiana, and was a U.S. Army veteran.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Matthew Beard.

 

Survivors include his wife, Eunice Jones Beard; his son, Christofer Beard; and his brother, Ricky Beard.

 

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
