Gary Allen Conrad Obituary

Gary Allen Conrad, 53, of Corydon, passed from this life on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Leavenworth, Indiana from complications of diabetes.  He was born June 26, 1968, in New Albany, Indiana, to June Conrad-Rowland and the late Robert L. Conrad.  Gary graduated from Corydon Central High School in 1986 and was a Baptist by faith.  He loved politics, reading and listening to medical podcasts.

 

He was preceded in death by his father; his grandparents, Walter and Ethel Conrad; his step grandmother, May Klinstiver; his aunt, Debbie Stonecipher; and his uncle, Lee Klinstiver.

 

He leaves to cherish his memory, his mom and step father, June and John Rowland; his beloved aunts, Doris Conrad, Barbara Elliott, and Becky Fetz (Rick); his uncle, Bobby Emily (Denise); his grandparents, Elmer Klinstiver and Margaret Emily; his step sister, Kathy Decker; his step brothers, Greg Rowland (Tammy) and Mark Rowland (Sandie); and many nieces and nephews.

 

At Gary’s request, funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, with cremation to follow.
