Gail Lynn Terry, 56, of Henryville, Indiana, formerly of Corydon, Indiana, passed peacefully Tuesday, January 27, 2026, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. She was born August 30, 1969, in Louisville, to the late Paul W. and Dee Anna Chumley Windell. She is survived by her husband, H.R. Terry; her daughters, Kelcie Honor Terry and Haley Paige Terry; her stepson, Aaron Russell Terry; her sister, Sara J. Faith (Jeffery); nephew Lukas Faith (Brooklynne); niece Gracie Jo Faith; her bonus daughters, Katelin Burton, Olivia Ruth and Kelsey Foster and was “GiGi” to Ella James and Myla Reign.
Her life was dedicated to helping others. She was the Secretary at Silver Creek Middle School where she deeply loved the Staff and Students. She was formerly employed as a Special Education aid at Henryville Elementary School and as a Human Resources Generalist at Tower Automotive in Corydon.
Gail dearly loved her family, and her cats and her dogs. She was a pen fanatic, a struggling euchre player, and a retired runner having completed three marathons and countless half marathons. And lover of all things pink.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday, February 6, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon, and from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg.
Funeral services will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026, at Garr Funeral Home in Sellersburg, Indiana. Burial following cremation will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
Honorary pallbearer will be David “Root” Rudolph.
