Fred Bridges

Fred Bridges, 70, of Lanesville, died Monday, January 10, 2022, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  He was born August 30, 1951, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late William Boone Bridges and Nancy A. Hawkins Bridges.  He was a retired distribution manager for Bacon’s department stores in Louisville, was a maintenance supervisor for the Lanesville Community School Corporation, and was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville and the Southern Indiana Draft Horse and Mule Association.

Survivors include his wife, Janette C. Hussung Bridges; his son, Allen Scott Bridges (Kelley); his grandson, Eron Boone Bridges; his brother, William “Tim” Bridges (Rhonda); his sister, Judith Mundy; and many loving nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2022, at St. John’s Lutheran Church near Lanesville.  Pastor Mark Carnahan will officiate.  Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday and from 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. Saturday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
