Frank Oren Hibbs, 72, of Corydon, Indiana, died Friday, February 6, 2026, surrounded by his family.  He was born February 22, 1953, in Corydon, to the late Orlo W. and Effie Ruth Daily Hibbs.  He was retired from Dekko Wire when he lived in Columbia City, Indiana and worked as a bricklayer with Rick Sillings Masonry.  Frank loved plants and gardening, tinkering outdoors, camping, collecting knick knack toys, and most of all spending time with his family.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Joshua Avery Hibbs; his brother, Earl Daily; and his brother-in-law, Mark Macy.

 

Survivors include his children, Jeremy Hibbs (Brittany), Andrew Hibbs, Jake Myers (Sarah), Jessi Paris, and Amanda Myers; his grandchildren, Drew Hibbs, Ethan Hibbs, Taylor Sanders, Tanner Sanders, Rylee Hibbs, Hayden Hibbs, Bristol Paris, Abigail Hibbs, Harper Hibbs, Treyton Hibbs, and Andrew R. Kirkham; his great grandson, Asher Hibbs; and his sister, Carol Macy.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 13, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Gary Valentine will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Drew Hibbs, Ethan Hibbs, Rylee Hibbs, Hayden Hibbs, Taylor Sanders, and Tanner Sanders.  Honorary pallbearers will be Abigail Hibbs, Bristol Paris, Harper Hibbs, and Treyton Hibbs.
