Frances L. Goodlet

Frances L. (Louden) Goodlet, 87, of Corydon, passed away on Thursday, September 2, 2021, at her home near Elizabeth, Indiana, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born April 1, 1934, in Sulphur, Kentucky, to the late Joseph Thomas and Anna Lou (Lynch) Louden.  She was retired from General Electric in Louisville, and was a member of the IUE-CWA Union Local 761 in Louisville and Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon.  Frances donated to numerous charities and enjoyed reading and listening to gospel music.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Robert Lee McClellan and Clayton Allen Goodlet; her son, Robert Lee McClellan, Jr.; her brothers, James, Morris, and Edward Louden; and her sister, Anna Blatz.

Survivors include her children, Cindy McClellan Cole (Larry) of Elizabeth, and Denise Wiley (Darrell) of Crandall, Indiana; her grandchildren, Angela Camp (Lee), Michael Martin (Sarah), Kyle Cole, Kendal Wiley, and Bethany Burke (Tim); 6 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Webster Oglesby will officiate.  Private burial will be at a later date following cremation.

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 9:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Lincoln Hills Christian Church in Corydon.
