Frances Jean Goodwin, 69, of Corydon, Indiana, died Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at Jewish Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  She was born May 22, 1956.  She was formerly employed as a dispatcher with the New Albany Police Department and was a member of the Georgetown Southern Baptist Church.

 

She was preceded in death by her father, Ernest Gillespie; her mother and step father, Edith J. Berryman Richert and Clifford H. Richert, Jr.; her son, Michael Goodwin; her brother, David Stevens; and her sister, Sherry Ramsey-Stevens.

 

Survivors include her husband, Paul H. Goodwin, Jr.; her son, Aaron Goodwin (Nichole); her daughter in law, Shannon Goodwin; her grandchildren, Breeanna Griffin, Kailee Goodwin, Michael Goodwin, Jr., and Alexander Dunn; her great grandchildren, Nadia Goodwin, Milo Goodwin, Braydin Goodwin, Shane Laster, and Caleb Griffin; her sister, Kathy Richert Adlington; and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.

 

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, June 30, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Steve Cline will officiate.

 

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Georgetown Southern Baptist Church.
