Fern Maxine Wright

Fern Maxine Wright, 87, of Corydon, died Thursday, September 16, 2021, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon.   She was born March 22, 1934, in Benton County, Indiana, to the late Edward A. and Ruth Cripoe Stonecipher.  She worked as a nurse’s aide for over 20 years, was a farmer, and was a member of the Methodist faith.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, William Wright, Jr.; and her sister, Naomi Strunk.

Survivors include her son, Douglas A. Wright (Sue) of Laconia, Indiana; her daughter, Anita R. Wright of Lanesville, Indiana; her sister, Clara Lee Neeves of New Salisbury, Indiana; 7 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, September 20, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. George Payocong will officiate.  Burial will be in Perseverance Chapel Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday and after 10:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
