Dottie Redden Ireland, 91, of Corydon, Indiana, died Monday, July 28, 2025, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon.  She was born November 23, 1933, in New Amsterdam, Indiana, to the late William Albert Redden and Ona Ester Funk Redden.  She was retired from the Harrison County Hospital finance/business office and from Harrison County REMC, was a member of Oak Grove Church near Corydon, the Order of Eastern Star Old Capital Chapter #467, the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Corydon Business and Professional Women’s Club.HH

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert L. Ireland; her daughters, Kathy G. Ireland and Patricia L. Laughlan-Ireland; and her granddaughter, Brittany Ireland.

 

Survivors include her husband, Duane Baxter; her daughters, Robin Parks (David) of Corydon, Julie Ireland-Hicks (Dave) of Corydon and Jennifer St. George (Rick) of Charlotte, North Carolina; her sister, Susie Wernert (Bill Tabor) of Corydon; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 3, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Allen Gardner will officiate.  Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Chris Parks, Andy Parks, Ben Parks, Bryan Terry, Ramsey Parks and Billy White.
