Dorothy Marie “Dolly” (Wallace) Gibson, a loving mother, sister, and gifted artisan, passed away on December 1, 2025, at the age of 77. She was born on August 14, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Lloyd Lee and Helen Grace (Brenzel) Wallace.

Raised in Germantown, Dolly graduated from Ursuline Academy, honorably served her country in the Women’s Army Corps, and was a member of the Catholic Church.  She met and married the love of her life, Curt Gibson, in 1976.

Dolly had a beautiful, creative spirit, enjoying arts and crafts. She shared her talent widely, often sending family members beautiful letters, artwork, and handmade gifts that were cherished expressions of her love.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Curt Gibson; her sons, Christopher and Adam Gibson; and her siblings, Bunny Caldwell, Mary Mattingly, George, John, Jim, and Mike Wallace.

Dolly’s memory will be eternally treasured by those she leaves behind: her son, Wesley Hunter Gibson; her brother, Pat Wallace (Bernie); her sister, Ruth Frederick; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
