Doris R. Bliss

Doris R. Bliss, 89, of Corydon, died Monday, November 14, 2022, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon.  She was born December 25, 1932, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Raymond and Nina Heishman Bliss.  She was a retired secretary, was a member of the New Middletown Lions Club, attended New Middletown White Cross Church, and loved gardening and her flowers.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her sisters, Betty Fowler, Marie Deaton, and Billie Hess.

Survivors include her brother, Kenneth R. Bliss (Brenda); her companion and friend, Merlin G. “Dick” Lillpop and his family; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 18, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Rev. Jack D. Shake will officiate.  Burial will be in Jordan Cemetery near Corydon.

Visitation will be from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
