Doris Jean Coffman (Bachman), 70, of Greenville, Indiana, died Wednesday, December 10, 2025, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  She was born April 16, 1955, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late Stephen and Thelma Vogt Bachman.  Doris was well known for her delicious cooking.  She had an eye for antiques and could often be found working on crafts and projects. She loved gardening, being outdoors, and spending time with her friends and family.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chris Watson, and her brothers-in-law, Jeff Ferree and Barry Denham.

 

Survivors include her sons, Chad Coffman (Abby) and Lucas Coffman (Tracey), her daughter, Susan LaHue (Marc), her grandchildren, Chase, Carter, Camille, Cash, Cade, Kielein, Talaina, Earlene, and Charles, her brother, Steve Bachman (Vicki), and her sisters, Donna Repenning (Dennis), Ruth Ann Denham, Karen Matthews (Randy), and Mary Walters (Jim).

 

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Allen Edwards will officiate.  Burial will be in Heidelberg Cemetery near Corydon.

 

Visitation will be after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
