Donnie K. Melton

Donnie K. Melton, 67, of New Middletown, Indiana, died Saturday, March 5, 2022, at U of L Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born September 9, 1954, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Charles and Mabel Paris Melton.  He was the owner and proprietor of the Ole Country Store in Sulphur, Indiana and was formerly a towboat captain for 25 years prior for ACBL.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Earl Melton; and his sister, Patricia Melton.

Survivors include his son, Jason Melton (Jessica); his daughter, Ashley Sullivan (Corey); his grandchildren, Isaac and Kelsey Melton; his brothers, Roy, Lester, Melvin and John Melton; and his sisters, Jane Cline, Barbara McMonigle, Doris Wiseman, Phyllis Metz and Anita Beach.

Funeral services will be at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 8, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Chad Stroud will officiate.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
