Donald L. Grover Obituary

Donald L. Grover, 90, of Corydon, died Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at Nazareth Home Clifton in Louisville, Kentucky.  He was born March 5, 1934, in Larned, Kansas, to the late John S. and Cicilia Margaret Buhrer Grover.  He was a retired self-employed Real Estate agent, was involved with many different positions in sales during his life, was a farmer and rancher, was formerly employed at Keller Manufacturing Company in Corydon, attended Community of Hope Church of the Nazarene in Corydon, and was U.S. Navy veteran.  Don was a very talented artist and oil painter, and also enjoyed spelunking and rock collecting.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Shirley Joann “Jody” Kruer Grover; and his daughter, Silea Crosier.

 

Survivors include his children, Rhonda Liebert (John) of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, Robina Felker (Dale) of Louisville, Don Grover (Debbie) of Carencro, Louisiana, Lisa Nichols (Richard) of Chicago, Illinois, and John Grover (Veronica) of Champlain, Minnesota; his son in law, Frank Crosier (Jeanne-Marie) of Blairsville, Georgia; his brother, John E. Grover of Santa Fe, New Mexico; his sister, Valena Gladden of Claremore, Oklahoma; 13 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.

 

Funeral services will be private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
