Donald C. Engleman, 89, of Corydon, died Thursday, July 29, 2021, at his home near Corydon. He was born October 9, 1931, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Ezra and Zetta Craig Engleman. He was a farmer, and was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church near Corydon, the Harrison County 4-H Council, the FFA Advisory Board, and Dairymen Inc..
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 grandchildren; and his infant sister.
Survivors include his wife of 70 years, Wilma Kintner Engleman; his sons, Curtis Engleman (Mary), Brian Engleman, and Steve Engleman all of Corydon; his daughters, Karen Engleman (Gary) of Georgetown, Indiana, and Janet Draper (Mark), Nancy Taylor (Mark), and Sara Burdick (Tom) all of Corydon; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; and 1 great great granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 2, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Rev. Rick Utz and Pastor Ryan Stroud will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery near Corydon.
Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery Foundation.
Pallbearers will be David Shireman, Dale Fawver, Jr., Greg Fawver, Jason Engleman, Andrew Engleman, Travis Burdick, Dustin Burdick and Jason Boutelle. Honorary pallbearers will be Jenny Shireman and Danielle Boutelle.
