Donald Arvill “Duck” Vann, 74, of New Salisbury, Indiana, died Thursday, February 19, 2026, at the Robley Rex V.A. Medical Center in Louisville, Kentucky. He was born February 28, 1951, in Huntsville, Alabama, to the late Rolland and Jannie Guerin Vann. He was retired after working in construction for many years and was a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.
Survivors include his sisters, Anda L. Prather and Kathie R. Cantarini; many loving nieces, nephews, and best buddies, Jerry & Dino.
A memorial service with military honors will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Private burial will follow at a later date in Central Barren Cemetery near New Salisbury, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org or the Harrison County Animal Shelter.
