Dennis R. Timberlake Obituary

Dennis R. Timberlake, 73, of Pekin, died Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Salem Hospital in Salem, Indiana.  He was born May 9, 1950, in New Albany, Indiana, to the late Bernard and Lois Mae Ripperdan Timberlake.  He was currently employed with ABN Transportation Company at the UPS hub of the Louisville International Airport, was formerly employed for many years with the Greater Louisville Bowling Association, was an avid bowler and a 2005 inductee into the Greater Louisville Bowling Association Hall of Fame, and was a U.S. Army Reserve veteran.  Dennis was a huge animal lover and loved to play golf in his younger years.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his mother in law, Della Brewer.

 

Survivors include his wife, Sheryl A. Brewer Timberlake; his brother, David Williams (Kathy) of Mauckport, Indiana; his father in law, Bill Brewer of Charlestown, Indiana; his brother in law, Randall Brewer (Sonya) of Charlestown; his sister in law, Cindy Kolb (Carl) of Charlestown; and many loving nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services will be at 5:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Randy Hensley will officiate.

 

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
