Deanna Brock, 80, of New Middletown, Indiana, died Sunday, October 5, 2025, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon.  She was born February 27, 1945, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late James Wright and Willadean Gusler Wright.  She was the former proprietor, with her husband, Bill, of B-Hive Fence Company, was formerly employed as a reporter/photographer with the Harrison County Press in Corydon, was formerly employed at the old Continental Telephone Company in Corydon, and was a former member of the South Harrison Community School Corporation Board.

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 33 years, William R. “Bill” Brock, Sr.; and her daughter, Susan R. Phillips.

 

Survivors include her son, Kevin Steen (Pamela); her son-in-law, Marc Phillips (Kim); her grandchildren, Devin Steen-Roby and Kyle Dylan Steen; and her great grandson, Everett.

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 11, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Brother Bill Campbell will officiate.  Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery near Laconia, Indiana.

 

Visitation will be from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday and after 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Marc Phillips, Alvin Greer, Roger Faith, David Steen, Jr., Joe Chaplin and Terry Carter.
