David Lee Chanley, 67, of Leavenworth, Indiana, died Monday, September 19, 2022, at Todd-Dickey Nursing and Rehabilitation in Leavenworth. He was born July 31, 1955, in Corydon, Indiana, to the late Charles E. Chanley, Sr. and Betty Jean Watson Chanley. He was salesman, truck driver and U. S. Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Charles E. Chanley, Jr.; and his sister, Melody Steward.
Survivors include his sons, Jonathan and Josh Chanley; his daughter, Crystal Starr; his stepson, Jimmy Ellis; his stepdaughters, Rebecca Ellis and Trish Lloyd; his brother, Jimmy Chanley; his sisters, Vickie McAllister (Scott), Robin Allen (Laddie), Patty Chanley (Rich) and Tammy Sheckells (Dennis); and six grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 23, 2022, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Chaplain George Payocong will officiate. Burial will be in Leavenworth Memorial Gardens near Leavenworth.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
