David G. Hisey

David G. Hisey, 75, of Mauckport, Indiana, died Saturday, July 1, 2023, at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, Indiana.  He was born January 16, 1948, in Mauckport, to the late Howard T. and Anna Mae Melton Hisey.  He was a farmer, was retired from General Electric in Louisville, Kentucky after 38 years, and was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church in Central, Indiana.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Mildred Ann “Poodie” Hisey.

Survivors include his son, Jonathon Hisey of Central; his daughter, Wendy Finn (Dennis) of Clarksville, Indiana; and his grandchildren, Aidan Finn, Chloe Finn, Amelia Finn, Luke Hisey and Abigail Hisey.

Funeral services were private at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Burial was in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.
