David A. Coffman

David A. Coffman, 88, of Corydon, died Monday, August 7, 2023, at Lincoln Hills Health Center in New Albany, Indiana.  He was born July 28, 1935, in New Amsterdam, Indiana, to the late Amel and Radia Curts Coffman.  David was the owner of Coffman Construction and Excavating.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 61 years, Esther D. Hoback Coffman; and his brothers, Charles and Bobby Coffman.

Survivors include his son, Dennis R. Coffman of Corydon; his brother, Stanley Coffman of Corydon; his grandchildren, Jason Coffman (Amanda) of Elizabeth, Indiana, Michael Coffman (Lindsay) of Floyds Knobs, Indiana, and David Coffman (Hannah) of Georgetown, Indiana; and his great grandchildren, Radia, Briar, Brynn, Reese, Beckham, Ryder, Charley Jo, and Annaley.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 11, 2023, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Lawrence Hofmann will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
