Danny R. Burns

Danny R. Burns, 73, of Corydon, Indiana, died Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at his home near Corydon.  He was born July 8, 1951, in Salem, Indiana, to the late Stanley and Malvery Stidhams Burns.  He was a retired millwright/senior repairman with International Harvester and a maintenance supervisor with Navistar in Louisville and was a retired Sgt. 1st class in the Indiana Army National Guard.  Danny was a devout believer in his faith and attended First Capital Christian Church in Corydon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Pamela J. Durham Burns.

Survivors include his sons, Shane Burns (Tara) and Jason Burns (Lena); his daughter, Jodie Davis (Aaron); his sisters, Sara House and Becky Smith; his eight grandchildren; his seven great grandchildren; and his companion, Sue Jane Miller.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 9, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Paul Denny will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Friday at the funeral home.
