Dana L. Brown

Dana L. Brown, 74, of Corydon, died Monday, July 5, 2021, at Baptist Health Louisville.  She was born August 8, 1946, in Owensboro, Kentucky, to the late Raymond Betts and Betty Ford Blaker.  She worked as an LPN for Dr. Rashidul Islam in New Salisbury, Indiana and was a member of New Middletown United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her granddaughter, Taylor Allie Dille.

Survivors include her husband, Max E. Brown; her daughters, Stephanie Brown (Anne) of Henryville, Indiana and Christina Hess (Jeff) of Laconia, Indiana; her sister, Tangela Head (Rick) of Owensboro; her mother in law, Joyce Brown of Corydon; her grandchildren, Samantha McKim (Stephen Hall), Marshall Dille, Keven Ray (Sadie), Craig Hess (Eva), and Cole Hess; her great grandchildren, Maxton McKim, Malachi Hall, Jackson Hess, and John Allen Hess; 1 niece; and 3 nephews.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, July 9, 2021, at New Middletown United Methodist Church.  Rev. Ted Chalk will officiate.  Burial will be in New Middletown United Methodist Church Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon and after 10:00 a.m. Friday at the church.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to her church.

Pallbearers will be Marshall Dille, Keven Ray, Jeff Hess, Craig Hess, Cole Hess, and Stephen Hall.
