Clarence Edward “Eddie” Reed, Jr., 60, of Corydon, died Sunday, October 18, 2020, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon. Eddie was born November 15, 1959, in Louisville, Kentucky, to Clarence E. Reed, Sr. and Rose Reed (Johnson).
Eddie began his career in California where he spent many years in government procurement until his early retirement when he moved to Corydon to be with family.
Eddie had a passion for creating. He also loved to shop, and he combined his two favorite hobbies to create beautiful jewelry, which he enjoyed giving to friends and family as a token of his love. He was known for his quick wit, his infectious smile and his kind spirit.
Eddie was preceded in death by his mother, Rose and step-father, Douglas Johnson. He is survived by his father, Clarence Edward Reed Sr.; siblings, Gerald (Jerry) Reed (Brenda Reed) and Lisa Reed-Fisher; his nieces, Chelsie (Reed) Forman and Courtnie (Reed) Carver; and nephews, Daniel Fisher, Charles Fisher and Bradley Fisher, along with five great-nieces and five great-nephews.
There will be a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Visitation will be after 12:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
