Clarence “Ed” Reed, Sr., 85, of Corydon, died Sunday, March 14, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana. He was born July 28, 1935, in Louisville, Kentucky, to the late Harry and Rita Lardner Reed. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Clarence “Eddie” Reed, Jr.; and his sisters, Doris Van Cleave and Virginia Hendricks.
Survivors include his son, Jerry Reed (Brenda) of Corydon; his daughter, Lisa Reed Fisher (Martin Edmonds) of West Palm Beach, Florida; his grandchildren, Chelsie Foreman (Corey), Courtnie Carver (Jacob), Daniel Fisher (Sheena), Charles Fisher (Melissa), and Bradley Fisher (Sydney); and his great grandchildren, Remington Foreman, Sophia Carver, Alivia Carver, Lincoln Carver, Summer Fisher, Gunner Fisher, Mason Fisher, Isabella Fisher, Tryton Fisher, and Sylus Fisher.
Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. Father Kyle Rodden will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery in Corydon.
Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the American Cancer Society.
Pallbearers will be Daniel Fisher, Charles Fisher, Bradley Fisher, Jacob Carver, and Corey Foreman.
