Chris L. Watson

Chris L. Watson, 67, passed away peacefully at home on Friday morning, October 18, 2024, after a courageous battle with cancer. He had a zest for life and a love for the great outdoors. He was happiest with a fishing rod in hand, exploring the woods, or camping under the stars. He had a remarkable talent for building or fixing almost anything. His adventurous and very generous spirit will be remembered fondly and his love will live on in the hearts of his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

Chris is preceded in death by his parents, Robert Lee and Joann Watson Yates. He is survived by his spouse, Doris, of Greenville IN, and his daughters Julie Conrad (Paul) of Corydon and Melissa Agan (John) of Louisville, as well as grandchildren Brayden Conrad (Carly), Bailey Conrad (Hannah), and Eliza, Jack and Henry Agan. He is also survived by his siblings, Robert L. Yates Jr (Sherry), Eric M. Yates (Tassy), Cindee Solera (Eric), Laura Boult, and Jackie Brennan (Bob), and by aunts, uncles, cousins and many dear friends. 

A private memorial will be held at a later date.
