Cheryl Lynn Proctor, 72, of Corydon, died Sunday, January 19, 2025, at Harrison Healthcare Center in Corydon.  She was born October 15, 1952, in Clarksville, Indiana, to the late James H. Miller and Mattie M. Price Miller.  She was retired from the U.S. Census Bureau in Jeffersonville, Indiana and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in New Albany, Indiana.  Cheryl was passionate about her church and tracing genealogy and ancestry. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Julia Sickles.

 

Survivors include her daughter, Holly Veeck (Chris); her sons, Joshua Proctor and Thomas Proctor (Crystal); her brother, Jimmy Miller (Marilyn); and many grandchildren.

 

There will be a memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon. 

 

Visitation will be after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
