Charles Edward Johnson, Sr.

Charles Edward Johnson, Sr., 94, of Ramsey, died Thursday, July 8, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  He was born October 26, 1926, in Harrison County, Indiana, to the late Charles Johnson and Alma Miller Curts.  He was a farmer, a member of Fountain United Methodist Church near Corydon, attended Potato Run United Methodist Church near Corydon and was a U. S. Navy veteran of WWII. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 57 years, Katherine L. “Katie” Grabill Johnson; and his daughter, Dianna Kay Johnson.    

Survivors include his son, Charles Edward Johnson, Jr. and his daughter, Mary Ann Johnson both of Depauw, Indiana.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, July 16, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Norman Lasley will officiate.  Burial will be in Pitman Cemetery near Depauw.

Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Thursday and after 9:00 a.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
