Cathy M. (Richard) Johnson, 66, of Corydon, Indiana, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024, at Indian Creek Healthcare Center in Corydon.  She was born August 13, 1958, in Corydon, to the late Ralph and Betty Jackson Richard.  She was formerly employed at Granny’s Restaurant in Corydon and was a member of Grace Tabernacle Church near Laconia, Indiana.  Cathy loved to cook and especially cherished making cookies for her family and friends.  She also enjoyed crocheting and needle point.

 

Survivors include her husband, Lewis D. Johnson; her sons, James Lynch, Jr., Robert Lynch, and Ralph Lynch; her brothers, Gary Richard (Connie), Gale Richard, Dale Richard, Michael Richard, and Tony Richard; her sister, Alice Neal (Jerry); 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.

 

Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Gary Decker and Pete Murphy will officiate.  Burial will be in Otterbein Cemetery near Laconia.

 

Visitation will be after 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Christopher Howard, Len Hunt, Amanda Mansfield, Gary Johnson, Larry Johnson, and Jacob Richard.

 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Grace Tabernacle Church.
