Carrie Elizabeth Miller, 80, of Corydon, Indiana, died Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at her home in Corydon.  She was born November 25, 1945, in Cumberland County, Kentucky, to the late Johnnie and Bercie Anderson Huff.  She was a retired dietician at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon and was a member of Blue River Baptist Church near Depauw, Indiana. 

 

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Kenneth “Kenny” Miller; her daughter, Sherry Riggs; and her brothers, Willie Huff and Roy Huff.

 

Survivors include her son, Darrell Miller (Pam); her daughter, Michelle Kopp (Kevin); her grandchildren, Brandy Buit, Tiffany Denham (Daniel), Shawna Yeager (Andrew), Kyle Kopp (Katie), and Kristopher Kopp (Claudia); her great grandchildren, Austin Buit, Damian Sheckells, Ava Denham, Miller Kopp, Hadley Yeager, Harper Yeager, and Briggs Yeager; her brothers, Reed Huff (Sandra) and Bruce Huff (Opal); and her sister, Evelyn Harper (Leon).

 

Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 22, 2026, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Jim Minter will officiate.  Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Corydon.

 

Visitation will be from 12:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday and after 9:00 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.

 

Pallbearers will be Tiffany Denham, Damian Sheckells, Brandy Buit, Austin Buit, Daniel Denham, and Noah Hartman-Martin.  Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Martin, Ava Denham, and Melaina Hartman-Martin.
