Carolyn Mae Cundiff

Carolyn Mae Cundiff, 82, of Corydon, died Monday, June 22, 2020, at her home near Corydon.  She was born November 22, 1937, in Mauckport, Indiana, to the late Wilson Hisey Jacobs and Girthie Mae Weedman Jacobs.  She was a self employed beautician at her home in Milltown, was a dietary worker at Harrison County Hospital in Corydon, and was a member of New Salisbury United Methodist Church.  Carolyn loved to cook and was happiest around her family and especially with her grandchildren on her lap.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Merle Jacobs; her infant twin brothers, Larry and Jerry Jacobs; and her sister, Alice Cox.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Kenneth W. Cundiff; her son, Kevin N. Cundiff (Angie); her daughters, Janet L. Medlock (Dan), Judy A. Shacklette (Rob), and Kelly J. Wright; her grandchildren, Chris Medlock (Erika), Sean Medlock (Cara), Tiffany Henley (Adam), Jacob Cundiff, Danielle Wright, and Kevin Heimerdinger; and her great grandchildren, Parker Henley, Sophie Henley, Colton Medlock, Zaden Cundiff, Bennett Medlock, Mitchell Medlock, Charlotte Leigh Medlock, and Brynn Medlock.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 25, 2020, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Donnie Whitlow will officiate.  Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon.

Visitation will be after 10:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be Sean, Chris and Dan Medlock, Kevin Heimerdinger, Adam Henley and Jacob Cundiff.

The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to the WHAS Crusade for Children.
