Carolyn Harbeson Williams Oliver, 81, died late Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Norton Pavillion Hosparus Care in Louisville. She was born August 24, 1942, in Crandall to the late Charles and Grace Carpenter Harbeson. Carolyn held many jobs over her lifetime, but her favorites were mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Carolyn was beautiful, outspoken, loving, feisty, classy and the world's best cook.
She was preceded in death by her son, Mark Randall Williams; her brothers, Chuck and Gary Harbeson; sister, Mary Ann Harbeson Clifton; and her parents.
Survivors include her daughters, Leslie Williams and Laura Fielder; son, Tim Williams; grandchildren, Joey Kintner Teel, Josey Kintner Reas, Tommy Kintner, Tyler Williams, Trent Williams, Brandy Ayers, Ashley Houser, Cory Williams, Mark Williams Jr, and Tiffany Williams; great-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Rhoads and Barbara Natcher; brother, Jeff Harbeson; step-brother, John Harbeson; her dear friends, Delores Vannoy and Terry Brown; sister-in-law Betty; and husband, Bob Oliver.
A celebration of life visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with a brief service at 7 p.m., held at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home, 201 North Oak Street in Corydon, on Friday, October 6, 2023.
