Carl E. Farmer

Carl E. Farmer, 75, of Corydon, died Saturday, November 20, 2021, at Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, Indiana.  He was born October 27, 1946, in Princeton, Indiana, to the late Russell and Joyce Sinkhorn Farmer.  He was a retired engineer with Norfolk Southern Railway, worked as a health ambassador at the Corydon Walmart, was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotives, the American Legion and the V.F.W., and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, Joe Bill Farmer; his twin siblings, Jack and Jill Farmer; and his sister in law, Janet Martin.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda R. Williams Farmer, his children, Brian Farmer of Dale, Indiana, and Brian and Carla Ripperdan of Boonville, Indiana; his grandchildren, Dustin, Amber, Megan, Ashlie, and Jacob; his great grandchildren, Chase, Landon, and Madison; his siblings, Gary Farmer (Shara), Ann Wilkison (Danny), Kathy Wilson (Steve), Wayne Williams (Doris), Dave Williams (Teresa), Jack Williams (Jennifer), Rick Williams (Tina), Donna Skelton (Marty), and Jim Martin; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.  Pastor Darren Carey will officiate.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday and after 9:00 a.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers will be his grandchildren.
